The Lord Northbrook (Fuller Smith & Turner)
Visits Details
14 Feb 2018 (Philip Pirrip)
Afternoon visit after Lee chores. Friendly staff, sedate atmosphere but killed by the higher than central London prices, absolutely no justification for that. Visit was one pint and no chance of an imminent return.
Castle Rock - Harvest Pale | 3.80 | | Slight haze, would expect above perfection at £4.70pp |
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | £4.60 pp would be scandalous even in central London |
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Gale's Seafarers Ale | 3.60 | Not Tried
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Front Row | 3.70 | Not Tried
Adnams - Mosaic Pale Ale | 4.10 | Not Tried
05 Sep 2017 (Magnus Greel)
Mid afternoon and quiet. Gone a bit trendy for my liking.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | | Rather flat compared to my last one at the Summerfield. Plus 80p more for the privilege. |
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Gale's Seafarers Ale | 3.60 | Not Tried
Bexley - Redhouse | 4.20 | Not Tried
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Oliver's Island | 3.80 | Not Tried
Bexley - Session Ruby Ale | 3.70 | Not Tried

Evening. Will only ever be a 1 pint visit here due to high prices. Busy though with most tables occupied and some live music about to start.

02 Apr 2014 (Stephen Harris)
I popped in here for 45 minutes in the early evening as I was early for meeting some friends nearby. Eyebrow-raisingly expensive for a suburban pub, but pleasant, busy and clearly popular. I just missed a Shamblemoose Brewery beer which ran out as I arrived.
Hop Stuff - Renegade IPA | 5.60 | | Golden in colour. Strong-tasting and full-bodied. Fruity hops, dry finish. |
Brockley - Golden Ale | 3.80 | | Golden in colour. A nice, crisp, refreshing pint. |
Caledonian - Golden Promise | 5.00 | Not Tried
Hop Stuff - Saisonniers | 4.50 | Not Tried
23 May 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. My first visit ever here. At £4 pp just one here - Central London premium price for a low abv beer in the suburbs. Better value elsewhere and nearby.
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Red Top | 3.80 | | Cloying and sticky. Top up requested as the local parson was displaying his collar here |
Marston's - Wychwood Hobgoblin IPA (was Ruby Beer, was Hobgoblin) | 4.50 | Not Tried
Westerham - British Bulldog "BB" (was 4.3%) | 4.10 | Not Tried
Robinsons - Dizzy Blonde Amarillo Pale Ale | 3.80 | Not Tried
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Silver Top | 4.50 | Not Tried
