The pub is found in South Hanningfield, Essex, CM3 8HJ.
A large, smart, village pub in South Hanningfield Road that was present by 1799. It has been much renovated following acquisition by the Brunning and Price chain. There is a small front garden and a large rear garden. Inside there is a selection of seating areas, with trademark Brunning & Price pastel shades and rugs on the floor. Most is food-oriented but there is a long bar to sit at, or some comfy seats in an area where food does not intrude.
We have visited this pub once, seen 6 different beers and tried 1 of them.
