We'd all been up to Sittingbourne for a wedding, and we came here after. Very nice it was too.

A friend kindly treated us to the delights of the very good menu on offer for a lunchtime visit. Most main course dishes were around £20. Very tasty food with pleasant service. There were quite a few in the restaurant area by the time we left.

Almost empty at lunch time on Bank Holiday Monday. This was supposed to be a lunch stop on a seaside walk from Faversham to Whitstable, but “Monday is the chef’s day off, so there’s no food and and we’re closing at 2:30”. Lots of disappointed customers were turning away. I believe that they usually have a slightly more extensive real ale range.

The pub is found in Seasalter, Kent, CT5 4BP.
A somewhat isolated pub, at the extreme west end of Seasalter. It stands beside a large car park, a small beach and a little line of beach huts, thus picking up holiday trade. It is a large building of the Victorian era, with conservatory seating at the front and a small garden seating area beneath the sea wall.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
