Afternoon. My first reaction was of the whiff of years of fags and booze which I like in a pub. Tops up usually offered after a glug to clear the head.

The pub is found in Snitterby, Lincolnshire, DN21 4TP.
Attractive village local by a small stream with a little ford to one side. Seems a very old main building with a long single storey extension at the rear. Voted the CAMRA Scunthorpe & District Branch Pub of the Year for 2013. In 2013 it had been owned by the Murrays as a freehouse for 6 years. 8 handpumps in total here. A 2 roomed extension is planned after which food availability may be extended.
