Friendly and welcoming edge of town locals pub, the landlord was keen on our itinerary for today and gave it his seal of approval! We could have stayed for more...

My first visit to this pub which is now run by Black Country Ales. A nice traditional multi-roomed pub with a Northamptonshire hood skittles table. This pub was under new management as from today, a pity for me as I had come here with the sole intention of having a chat with the manager that left yesterday.
