Evening visit awaiting last London train. No cask ale - licensee said was awaiting a delivery and awaiting handpumps being replaced. Half of draught Guinness was the distress purchase.

Within site of the bus stops at the Forum but so difficult to get to in this pedestrian unfriendly area, we had approximately one hour here before catching the rather early last bus to Maidstone at 18:42. The barman informed us that the pub is now free of tie and that some of the difficult to cross roads are going to pedestrianised.

Evening. Prominent signage stesses Thai cuisine. Having heard the rumble of a train I legged it as I wanted a beer pub - so on to Faversham.
