13:30 Lunch stop. I hadn't realised that the pub had changed hands since I last visited. The famous suit of armour has gone, sold by the departing Landlord. Not impressed. It had been there for years and was part of the pub. The fizz cider has changed from Aspall's which my wife prefers to a a big brewery bland (sic). The food wasn't as good either. Shan't be going back.

19:00 Out for a meal. The pub was very quiet but the dining room was two thirds full. Surprising for a Tuesday in these straitened times.

The pub is found in Hethersett, Norfolk, NR9 3DD.
Village pub in Old Norwich Road, with a public bar that is not much more than a snug. A beamed lounge bar with inglenook fireplace. Dining room, and garden. Closed late February 2023. Re-opened later in July 2023.
