A Whiting & Hammond pub located on the edge of the common beside a church. High ceilings and wood-panelled walls covered with a pleasing selection of books and pictures. The bar is located in the centre with 5 handpumps plus lagers and Guinness. On 18th August 2013 visit the pub was celebrating its 10th anniversary with a garden party & beer festival.
