20:00 Meal stop. The outside shed had the remains of guest ales from the previous day's family day. Good chat with the manager about beer choice.

The pub is found in Hoxne, Suffolk, IP21 5AS.
The building dates from 1480 when it was built as a lodge for the Bishop of Norwich. Magnificent interior of beams and plaster work. Huge inglenook fireplace. One bar has the dimensions of a hall, the other has a lower ceiling. Separate dining room.
