13:00 An additional stop. Very interesting pub. There is a tiled logo on the exterior of a winged tankard over the word Charrington. I have never seen anything similar on a former Charrington's pub.

We did not originally plan to come here, but as we were passing we decided to look through the window, and we were delighted with what we saw on the pumps. The landlady was most welcoming and produced photographs of the pub dating from the 1930s. She informed us that West London CAMRA were visiting the pub in the evening and that she would have the first cask of a new beer from Portobello called simply Portobello Bitter.
