Afternoon visit and fairly quiet at this time of day. The barman was enthusiastic about his beers and informed that Charles Wells new brewery should open in August 2019.

Large double gabled house near the railway station. Recently refurbished. Side entrance off an outside drinking area patio. One large open bar. Annual beer festival. 4 handpumps on bar counter.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
