Evening vist, we had tried here on Christmas Eve to find we were too late but noticed that the pub would be open until 23:00 this evening. A superb atmosphere with the sound of Purcell's music for the funeral of Queen Mary playing in the background. We ordered a local jenever but the one we chose was not available so the guv recommended another one and suggested a beer to go with it. A nice relaxed atmosphere with a good number enjoying a peaceful pub on Christmas Day.

23:00 Just a few in. Made very welcome. Had a pear Jenever to chase the beer. Very tasty.
