The pub is found in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, NR31 6RR.
Fascinating. The pub underwent a complete renovation in 1981, re-opening on the day of the Royal Wedding. The single room is double the size of the original pub and has views down to the harbour. The bar is constructed from reclaimed carved wood and stained glass, some from a monastery. There is also some new stained glass commemorating Charles & Diana. An unusual feature is a bank of small casks. In the first few years following re-opening these were hired by local firms, filled with a spirit of their choice and locked. When entertaining, a firm's representative would unlock the cask and serve drink to his guests.
We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
