A wet Wednesday lunchtime in early October.Busy with people enjoying lunch. We sat in the dining room to the right and reminisced about schooltime chastisements.Excellent pub.

Busy on an overcast November Sunday lunchtime with a large birthday party and groups of diners:many racing mementoes. I last came here in 1975. We sat in the bar and discussed the student predicament.(A bit like in 1975.)A cracking pub.

Interestingly gabled brick pub in The Green with pantile roof in a privately owned village. Two small rooms, one laid up for dining.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
