The pub is found in Stretton, Rutland, LE15 7RA.

Thatched pub with adjacent converted barn. Main role is as an upmarket restaurant. There are three dining rooms two in the original pub and one in what was known as the Barn Bar in the Second World War. The gem is the entrance which is a snug with built in seating and a hatch bar. One bench contains a "Nurdling" (pitch penny) hole and drawer. There is a pile of pre-decimal pennies on the mantelpiece for playing the game. The snug serves as the ante-room for diners before they are shown to their table but you are welcome to go in just for a drink. The pub was originally known as the White Horse but was on the market with Jackson Stops with a board outside for so long that the locals called it by that name. The pub owners changed it to match.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
