As this pub finally re-opened this year we made this our forth new visit on the Richmond-twickenham route. The fact that the ale was served in plastic glasses and it is not on the same level as Ales & tails our normal stop around this area means we probably won't be back any time soon.

The pub is found in Twickenham, Greater London, TW1 3SX.

This is a large spacious pub in the centre of the town in London Road that has enough room for rugby fans during match days. The wood floor merges into smooth flagstones towards the back. Outside there is a patio area. After 2 years of closure the pub, previously known as the Rugby Inn (but it never opened under this name), Grand Union, Twickers, Hobgoblin, Filthy MacNasty's, Black Dog, finally reopened under new tenants on the 6th July 2013. Closed again in 2014 then re-opened in October 2017 as a restaurant called Palm Grill, without any real ale. Closed again in March 2018. Re-opened 2019 with a further name change.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
