12:30 Surprisingly quiet for a city centre pub. Once again all beers from the Marston's stable. Interesting discussion with the barman about various beer glasses. The glasses supplied for the Stella Cidre are grotesque and must cost a fortune, conversely the latest half pint Stella stemmed glass is a wonderful piece of good design.

The pub is found in Manchester, Greater Manchester, M1 2PN.
Corner pub opposite the Metrolink entrance of Piccadilly railway station. One large high ceilinged room with some good plasterwork. Interesting wooden bar back with cast metal sign of the pub name. There are eight handpumps on the bar counter.
