Eagle (formerly Wells & Young's, formerly Charles Wells, formerly Wells) - Wells / Dogfish Head DNA | 4.50 | This was a bit too chilled for comfort. Nice hops in here somewhere, but had a bit of a ‘soapy’ taste. | |

The pub is found in Farringdon, Central London, EC4A 4AB.
This pub has been present on Farringdon Street since the early nineteenth century and has been rebuilt at least twice in that time, in 1927 and again in around 1990. Its current incarnation is as a modern pub at the foot of an office block. Traditionally a Watney’s house, it was acquired by Scottish & Newcastle in 1999. Closed 2015 and demolished for new development. New build on site and re-opened in November 2018 operated by Hippo Inns in a partnership with Ei Group and with a new name.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
