Doors opened at exactly 12:00 on a Sunday and the pub soon became very busy with regulars, Church goers, and Railale travellers.

The pub is found in Marsden, West Yorkshire, HD7 6BR.

Large pub set on the site of a former Co-operative store in Peel Street, it is handy for the railway station. There is a dining area on the first floor. The Riverhead Brewery is now owned by Ossett but still brews. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2023. Re-opened in March 2024 after a major refurbishment.
