Sea front pub-bar. Quiet at 20 past 3pm. I sat under a well used dart board.

All closed up although I pushed open the door to see decorating in full swing. It hopes to open for Summer sometime next week. Ads in the window for kitchen staff. I remember this as a basic Burt's house with a glass panel in the front of the bar counter which showed the beer pump mechanisms.

The pub is found in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, PO38 1JR.
On the sea front at the bottom of the cliffs accessible via a zig-zag road or a zig-zag path. Formerly a Burt's of Ventnor house. Tiled floor and slatted wooden bar front and solid wooden counter top. 4 handpumps. With lack of regular local custom often closes for the Winter season.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
