Late afternoon following a very enjoyable visit to Kew Gardens. The pub was well patronised outside but empty inside in the large ground floor bar area. Bit dissapointed that there was no river view from the ground floor deck area.

On Kew Bridge Road a new build pub at the heart of the new St George's development of apartments and flats beside the north end of Kew Bridge. It replaces the Waggon & Horses at 26 Kew Bridge Road, Brentford, demolished for site redevelopment a few years ago. The pub is set on two floors, with views over the river as well as terrace seating. An iron spiral staircase takes you to the top floor with its own smaller bar.
