11:15 First stop on a pub crawl and foreign trip planning meeting for five of us in York. Four or five others in. A plan for visiting preserved railway lines in Holland was completed.

Basic boozer in the centre of York. Superb tiled sign. Two rooms, one large with the bar in one corner, and a smaller room to the rear. A proper pub catering for local drinkers rather than the tourist trade like most of pubs in the city centre.
