Saturday afternoon- I struggled with my bike from the riverside through heaving throngs of people to find this place - but it was too busy to get served and only one person working the bar. I couldn’t even see what beers were on offer.

13:45 Bought beer at the shop counter and took it through to the rear room which overlooks the market. A complimentary plate of sandwiches and a bowl of crisps was provided.

The pub is found in York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7LX.
Very odd. Gift shop and cafe that has three draught beers and a selection of bottled beers on sale. Shop at the front. Corridor leads through to Slaughterhouse room which has a slaughterman's hat and cleaver as decoration on the wall.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
