Salisbury is clearly the place to be for Pubs & Beer users today – Robert and I begin our little pub crawl here shortly after noon. Friendly welcome, King Crimson playing on the stereo.

Unusually busy due to a pub crawl celebrating 30 years of the Thursday evening drinking group, "The Weekly Windup".
Titanic - Chocolate & Vanilla Stout4.50ExceptionalExcellent stout with smooth, rich chocolate flavours perfectly accompanied by sweet vanilla notes. Lingering chocolatey finish. My score 18/20.

The comfy sofas were taken up by some local drinkers who were chuckling away to themselves. Jane and I amused ourselves watching the pub's dog take a wee on the carpet.
