Mid evening visit. Nice dark wood panelled single roomer. The garden is high fenced off from the wedge end of the road junction.

Mid afternoon visit. Business ticking over. Staff adorning the ceiling with patriotic home country flags for forthcoming football. Tempted to have a bottle of the year dated Vintage Ale but was far tooooooo early in the day.

Afternoon visit just after the kitchen shut down so I was able to read the food menu without being tempted to make a purchase, but I will remember that fish and chips is almost half price on Wednesdays.

Evening. Saw some Fuller's Vintage bottled ales on the shelf so gave them a try.

The pub is found in Borough, Central London, SE1 1DX.
In Borough Road this pub has an attractive green tiled frontage and wood panelled interior. There are 5 handpumps on the long bar counter. Popular for Sports TV. Upstairs quieter area and function room. Announced on website and Facebook on 3rd January 2022 that Fuller's had closed it permanently due to circumstances beyond "their" control". In spring 2023 taken over by the True Pub Co with an intended re-opening date in summer 2023. In due course re-opened early June 2023 with its kitchen planned to open a little later.
