A brief visit as a break from viewing the Winter Lights around the Canary Wharf Estate. Crowded with others doing the same.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Maule - Dark Maule4.80ExcellentFrom some kind of keg, probably key-keg given the low carbonation. A sweet, smooth, chocolatey Oatmeal Stout.

Mid-evening on a Friday and the pub is very busy – probably extra busy on account of the live England football match on TV. Boisterous atmosphere.

The pub is found in Docklands & Isle of Dogs, Greater London, E14 4DH.

A large, modern pub within the Canary Wharf development in Fishermans Walk. It was one of the first to open as this area was developed and counts as an old timer around here. Now surrounded by other pubs and restaurants. One very large bar space, with extensive outdoor seating. Renamed the Merchant and now aimed fairly and squarely at diners, the pub atmosphere has been replaced with that of a restaurant. There are eight handpumps on the bar counter. Lease surrendered by Fullers.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
