Ah - back to a proper pub with a few customers and pleasant atmosphere. Nice.

This is one of those pubs where it is necessary to remain inside if you wish to drink your pint out of glassware rather than flimsy plastic.

Had an interesting conversation with some local workers who were slightly the worse for wear, but nonetheless, would recommend a visit.

The pub is found in Shoreditch, Central London, EC2A 3BX.
This former Watney's pub, in Curtain Road, has been present since at least 1869. Unusually, it has two totally different pub signs on each side of the corner building. Nevertheless, although very small, it has good quality wooden floor and seating.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 6 different beers and tried 4 of them.
