A quick early evening pint. This huge pub was almost empty at the time. I had a pint labelled with a proper pumpclip as “Sambrook – Wandle”; it was a tasty pale beer with a good hop bite. Clearly wrongly labelled on the bar (this problem seems to be increasing) so no rating here from me. Two more Greene King beers were advertised by pump clip but both had ‘just run out’.

Sunny Saturday morning and this had the feeling of a very good venue for eating, drinking and watching the river traffic go by. I don't usually do this - but I have to confess to only having a coffee - but it was before noon. Will be back to sample it when busy some day.
