This pub re-opened on Friday evening and is yet another addition to the booming Hackney real ale scene. Quite busy on Sunday afternoon, although it would not take many people for this pub to seem busy.

The pub is found in Hackney, Greater London, E9 6RG.

A small, red-brick, street corner pub in the midst of Well Street Market. Established by 1851 and re-launched in June 2014 with the re-introduction of cask beer, on sale here for the first time in living memory. The ground floor fascia has been stripped back to reveal some old, carved wood, Whitbread signage that might be a unique survivor. Closed March 2025. Reopened March 2026 with new name.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
