About the Berstrete Gates

The pub sign. Berstrete Gates, Norwich, Norfolk

The pub is found in Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 3EN.

An unusual pub in Ber Street in that it doesn't stock any draught beer at all. Only bottles and cans are available. The bar counter has keg fonts but all are out of use. The pub is a CAMRA RI and boasts a good panelled interior. Of note is the exterior bas-relief of the former city gate from which the pub gets its name. A number of these were produced for pubs by an artist called John Moray Smith.

We have visited this pub once, seen 0 different beers and tried them all.
