Visiting this pub brings back happy memories for me of long, hot summer evenings in the back garden and swimming in the river nearby – long ago. Still nice today.

About the Perch

Summary of Beer Scores

The pub is found in Binsey, Oxfordshire, OX2 0NG.

This seemingly remote country pub is actually only quite a short riverside walk from Oxford city centre. It is an ancient pub, whose origins are lost in the mists of time (i.e. probably seventeenth century). Despite its stone-walled, thatched, timeless appearance, the building actually only dates from 1977, when it was rebuilt after a fire. Extensive gardens.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
