Late evening busy with folk of all ages, we sat at a table at the bar area rather than exploring other areas in this behemoth of a pub.

Lunchtime - very busy but the food came quickly and was good quality. Good selection of ales being well sampled.

Huge three storey inn, converted from a flour mill, with large river frontage immediately over the River Dee and facing the steam railway station. Food dominated with a good bar area and outside terraces facing the river.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 9 different beers and tried 3 of them.
