Following in Jack William's footsteps we ventured here after a lively ride on a Class 104 from Llangollen on a lovely warm sunny mid afternoon, a must visit if doing the railway..

Contemporaneous entry, early afternoon. Sitting on the terrace under a corrugated plastic roof watching the thunder and lightning roll around the valley. 10 minute walk back to the station for the steam train back to Llangollen- we may be here for some time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Bitter4.00GoodA smooth amber ale.

arrived at 11:40 am - 40 minute wait for the return train to LLangollen and the landlord clearly has a nose for business by opening this early. Pleasant, nice terrace -worth finding for the train trip alone.
