The pub is found in Spennymoor, Durham, DL16 7RS.

This pub was established before 1861 as the Golden Fleece, a name it held until 1984 when it was renamed the Mineshaft, and taking its current name in 1992. It stands a little away from the town centre and is somewhat cut off by a busy road and a large roundabout – but worth finding. Essentially a large single room, with an island bar. There are a few outside tables for good weather.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
