Early doors on a rainy June Saturday,filling up rapidly. We sat in the Top Snug, building up our strength for the long drive south. Unfortunately the Father William lamp seems to be no more.

Returning our son to the groves of academe,lunch and beer were called for on a Wednesday lunchtime.A great, if pricey Yorkshire pub.There's a venerable Youngers "Father William" lamppost in the car park: I'm not sure if it is operational.
