The pub is found in Overstrand, Norfolk, NR27 0AB.

Completed as a private house in 1912 and boasting Winston Churchill as a guest before the First World War it first became a hotel in 1936. Converted to a Council run Care Home in 1955 it was abandoned and vandalised before being restored and re-opened as a hotel in 1996. The restoration has been meticulous and the bar has been returned to its Baronial glory. The original minstrel's gallery was stolen but has been recreated from a single panel found in a skip.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
