Evening visit. Lots of coming soon clips showing. Clear end of bank holiday feel.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10PoorReplacement pint was albeit cooler but quite unrecognisable as Pride. There were just no off flavours to justify returning it. If anything a little soapy
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10UndrinkableYou'd think Pride would be the fast mover here. However this is the first time for years a beer has been handed to me feeling warm to the touch. Swapped with good grace but....

Early afternoon fairly quiet with a few groups coming and going. Was clear to see the barmaid had no training on how to pull a pint but was willing to take on board a few tips from us whilst trying to keep straight faces!

Well timed late lunchtime visit as many of the suits were leaving after my arrival so found a free table by the fire exit.

Mid afternoon and far quieter than I would expect. However our group soon got bigger plus others arriving after office finish time it was standing room only when we left.

I was pushed in here by a sudden very heavy downpour in the early evening. Pleased I came in – not been here since the first week the pub opened (c.2000?).
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10GoodA fresh and tasty pint of Pride.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Gale's Beachcomber3.70AcceptableGolden. Bland in the extreme – only just about worth 3 stars.
