I have some business in the area and sneak a crafty lunchtime pint. Pretty sure that I have never been in here before. The display of pumpclips suggests that I am unlucky there are no London-brewed beers on today.

A street corner pub in Warwick Way, standing close to the Passport Office. It was established in 1839 and historically was tied to the nearby Watney’s Brewery. The ground floor is now all one room, with bare floorboards and dark green painted walls. There is a first floor restaurant and some pavement tables.
