This pub has had a makeover since my last visit but retains its two bar layout. Welcoming bar staff made this an enjoyable visit.

Pub number four on a tour of Carshalton. I asked about the provenance of the Kent and Sussex Brewery and was told that it is very small and is somewhere near Maidstone. This is the same story that I was told in another Penguin Pub Co pub so at least the story is consistent but I am none the wiser as to whether it is a cuckoo brew, a badged brew or a brewery in its own right.
A decent traditional boozer.
