16:45 This was a strange one. My wife fancied a cup of tea. The new signage for the pub advertises real ale and hot drinks including tea. Result! We went in seemingly much to the surprise of the young man behind the bar. The interior looked like work in progress. I mentioned real ale and tea but was met with incomprehension. It was as if he was unaware of the the external advertising. He offered lager on tap but we made our excuses and left.
