Vale - Metamorphosis | 4.50 | Amber-coloured. Nice hop flavours.
Liberation (formerly called Jersey) - American Brown Ale | 4.20 | The malt and hops balance too much on the malt side for my liking – would have liked some more US hop flavours.

The pub is found in Fareham, Hampshire, PO16 0JW.
Unusually for a Wetherspoon house, the Crown was a well-established pub before the chain’s 2009 takeover. A town centre pub that has been here since at least the 1840s, brewing its own beer as the Crown Brewery in the early days. Although heavily branded inside, the pub retains much of its historic appearance.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
