The pub is found in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 1PR.
Modern wine bar-type pub, the first to be owned by Lymestone Brewery of Stone. Accessed via an alleyway in between the estate agents and Chatwins, the pub is basically one L-shaped room with a mixture of chairs and sofas, plus a piano in the corner for that old-fashioned feel, At least eight real ciders are stocked, advertised on a tall pole; regular cider and perry festivals are also staged. Note that the pub opens at 12 noon on Bank Holidays, and that the doors will be locked half an hour before closing time.
