The pub is found in Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 9NQ.
Built 1931 for Kemp Town brewery this brick-built pub originally had three rooms and off-sales. The Spitfire Room on the right retains its original counter, cupola ceiling, Tudor style fireplace, half-height panelling and fixed seating but the top half of the bar back is new. The middle snug has original counter, panelling to picture-frame height, fixed seating but the top half of the bar back is new. This room has been combined with the lounge on the left but the major part of the bar counter remains now marooned in the middle of the combined room, and there is more half-height panelling and fixed seating around the room. There was a major renovation in 2013 but this has mainly involved painting everything in pastel shades rather destroying the remaining original features.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
