21 Aug 2018 (ChrisE)
Afternoon visit, a reasonable number of customers at the bar, I bumped in to an old friend and we sat by the window and supped a beer.

3rd pub on Ian and my tour of Ashford. 30 years ago this used to be 2 rooms and I used to drink bottles of Fosters Ice. I was an idiot but the pub was more charismatic.

Fuller's - London Pride4.10AcceptableIn there somewhere, fighting the cold and tight sparkler, was London Pride.

Late afternoon and busy with folk watching Germany's exit from the world cup with much applause and gloating to be had! Our group managed to find a table free at the front of the pub and enjoyed the good atmosphere in here today.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's - London Pride4.10GoodThis was in surprisingly good condition albeit a little thin @ £2.20 a pint for the thrifty minded.

Early evening visit, I found the quietest part of the pub and sat down for a few minutes before leaving.

Fuller's - London Pride4.10Undrinkable£2.40 per pint, I had a few sips and left it.

I met Jason, a fellow scribe to this site in here for a pint before setting off on a tour by bus to do a couple of pubs that are currently linked by a bus service that will be axed in a few weeks time. Service was slow and the place was noisy with loud music made worse by an over abundance of television screens. Other pubs as already listed by Jason so I will not repeat them.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's - London Pride4.10PoorLacking any true flavour and somewhat metallic. Even at £2.40 per pint as charged in here I would not want another one.

Late afternoon and fairly busy. First visit since refurbishment and am disappointed. Wall to wall TV screens, loud music making conversation difficult. I preferred it when it was a peaceful creche!

Fuller's - London Pride4.10PoorVirtually no flavour to this at all, like its been watered down.

Afternoon visit and the busiest that I have seen it for a very long time. Unfortunately there were no cask beers available today owing to a problem with the pumps. Cask ales are normally around £2.25 per pint in here.

Fairly quiet and a nice atmosphere. This pub will be closing for a refurbishment at the end of July and will reopen a few weeks later under the EI group's Craft Union brand.

Now an Enterprise (EI Group) managed house. Very much work in progress today and no card transactions at the moment. A refurbishment is planned along with the introduction of sparklers on the pumps
