I last came here when it was the Brown Bear and a thriving real ale pub, it is good to see it open again but disappointing to find it very quiet and just one ale on.

15:00 We were the only customers. The barmaid was busy laying up the tables for dining which I suspect is the main business of the pub.

The pub is found in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 8BE.

This pub used to be named the Brown Bear and was mecca for real ale tickers. A good basic pub with an ever changing range of beers from all over the country. It closed for some time and has now re-opened, been renovated and renamed. The floor plan remains but nothing else. Modern, sterile, soulless and with a boring range of beers.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
