We'd been away with the messages in Burgess Hill, and decided to have a walk on the Downs with the dogs.Lunchtime on a wintry January Saturday. Comfortably busy:the pub filled up as the afternoon progressed.
Burning Sky - Plateau3.50ExceptionalVery pale,lemons and nettles. A bit like Hophead of old. My first meeting with this Sussex brewery.
Downlands (formerly South Downs) - Pale4.10GoodAnother new brewery for me.Slight haze.Woolly.
