Late afternoon. After being temporarily semi-blinded by a hospital eye test I pledged to take a 208 to Shortlands Tavern or 185 to All Inn One whichever came first and the 185 won. Relaxed pub and friendly and informative behind the bar.

Once called the Foresters this independently run freehouse is located 2 minutes away on "the other side" of Forest Hill railway station. Smartly decorated and furnished single room with 5 live handpumps on the bar with a further decorative one to one side. Separate restaurant for about 30 covers. The main bar may be partitioned off with a screen to make a party / function room area.
We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
