Definitely open! First Saturday after lockdown #3 restrictions were eased. Arrived by narrowboat late afternoon- all outside tables occupied and a queue of about 10 people. We walked to The Inn at Freshford - and then had a swift pint later here.

Late lunchtime - busy but swift friendly service. Have been here by boat and bike before - first time by car (which was challenging down a single track, dead end road) - still need to come by train as there is an adjacent halt. This pub is one of my top 5 and didn’t disappoint. Very good l lunch, good beers and we watched kingfishers fly back and forth along the river under the canal aqueduct.

One of my favourite pubs - especially for the location. Since my last visit it has been renovated and lost some of its eclectic charm - but it is still superb. About 40 outside tables stretching down to the river. I had a very good mushroom burger and chips for a tenner.

Sunday lunch on way back from Bath on narrowboat. Booked ahead sensibly. Very busy and friendly in a nonchalant way. This was my fourth visit - love it. Just noted the two beers I remembered - at least another two Box Steam available.
