The barmaid seemed surprised when seven of us all ordered Tribute. The pub was very quiet at the time of our visit but we all thought that it must get busy in the evenings and at weekends.

One other drinker at the bar, who engaged one of our party in conversation and gave us some leads for other interesting pub interiors in the area.

The pub is found in East Dulwich, Greater London, SE22 0RS.

In Forest Hill Road, originally the Forest Hill Tavern a Truman's new build pub, the exterior still proclaims its origins. Sadly the lower half has been painted a rather vivid green. The interior has been knocked into one large room. There is a rather nice snug area in the fireplace alcove of the former saloon bar. The original Vitrolite panelled ceiling is noteworthy as is the unusual glazed octagonal skylight over where the billiard table would have originally been. Taken over and renamed by Laines in 2016.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
