12:00 Second stop. Fairly empty but soon got busy. The Assistant Manageress took exception to one of our party examining the bar counter to determine its age. I couldn't see why.

The pub is found in Mayfair, Central London, W1S 1PY.

1930s rebuild in Mock-Tudor style in Maddox Street. Leaded windows, panelled walls in both the ground floor bar and the upper dining room. Lovely gilded and painted beams.
